As part of MGL’s continuing activity to provide enrichment services to our schools we have managed to secure the services of an Egyptologist , Adel Mokhtar.
In his recent visit Adel has spent four days visiting eight schools across Manchester, Wirral, Cheshire and St Helens. During his visit to these schools where he addressed over 350 children he spoke about his life as an Egyptologist, the origins of Hieroglyphics, the kings of Egypt and much more. His visit was a tremendous success with both pupils and staff who felt that he had brought ancient Egypt to life. All schools will continue to maintain links with Adel.

Additionally during his visit Adel has not only introduced us to a school in Cairo so that we can link our schools to schools in Egypt but has also agreed to provide every child with a Cartouche of their names .
