Free IT Training for teachers – course dates announced

MGL is one of only ten National Delivery Partners for the National Centre for Computing Education (NCCE) and its national programme of Teacher Training in Computing Skills at all levels. The NCCE is funded by the Department for Education and works with partners such as STEM Learning, the Raspberry Pi Foundation, and the Chartered Institute for IT, with the vision of promoting better IT Skills training in all schools in the UK.

MGL can provide FREE resources, training and support for teaching Computing in any state primary and secondary schools and colleges from Key Stage 1 through to A Level.

The first course dates have been announced for Primary Programming and Algorithms. These are:

More course dates will be announced soon including:

  • Outstanding Practitioner in Computing at KS1 (Duration = 2-day course)
  • Outstanding Practitioner in Computing at KS2 (Duration = 2-day course)
  • GCSE Accelerator Programme (Duration = 4 x 2-day course)
