The first course to be delivered by MGL under the national programme of Teacher Training in Computing Skills is now full. The course, Primary programming and algorithms, scheduled for the 15th February 2019, was fully booked within a couple of days of being announced. MGL Managing Director, Carl Gilbertson, said: “The fact that we filled the places for this course so quickly reflects the appetitie amongst schools in the north west for quality IT training for staff. We are certain that the curriculum for the course and the method of delivery will prove hugely beneficial for the individual teacher attending and their schools.”
A full range of courses for primary and secondary schools have been scheduled (click here for more details) but, given the rapid uptake of the first course, teachers and schools who are interested are urged to book their course as soon as possible to take advantage of the free places and burseries (subject to the teacher and school meeting the terms for the free training), and to ensure they are actually able to secure a place on the course.
