The MGL Schools Conference 2019 was again hosted at the iconic Anfield Stadium Liverpool. A huge thank you to over 100 school delegates who attended this year’s event that was supported by a number of external partners that included:

  • Liverpool Hope University, with a keynote presentation looking at the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its current and future likely impact on society and the workplace
  • Merseyside Police, who led a discussion with delegates on the critical area of cyber security and the implications for schools
  • A range of national and international technology specialists and providers, who gave their time to attend to showcase the latest trends in educational technology

A particular thank you to our main guest speaker, Steve Rotherham, Metro Mayor of the Liverpool City Region. Steve gave an inspiring speech to delegates on the importance of the creative and digital economy to future economic growth, and the crucial role of schools at all levels in skilling the future workforce in this area.

We look forward to seeing colleagues at our next Anfield conference in 2020. Please note that MGL will be hosting a similar event for schools in the Greater Manchester area in early March 2020. Once confirmed, the date and booking details will be posted on our website, so watch this space!
