MGL is working in partnership with Google as part of the DfE’s Platform Provisioning Programme. The Department for Education has agreed to pay for this programme so partners – including MGL – can deliver this service for you with the cost paid for by the DfE. The DfE will pay the school directly and MGL will invoice the School for the agreed amount that the DfE will be paying schools.
As a Google for Education Partner, MGL will set up everything you need, so you can take advantage of a full range of Google Suite tools including Google Mail and Meet for communication, Drive for storage and Docs, Sheets, Slides and more for productivity and collaboration and for schools, Classroom.
Schools wishing to engage MGL as its partner on the programme can now apply through the following website:
From here, you apply for the DfE funding and select ‘Apply for support from a Google partner’ and MGL as your preferred delivery partner. MGL will then be notified by Google to begin undertaking the work on behalf of your school. We will work with you in accessing appropriate user access lists for school in order to roll out the Google Suite for Education, and will provide all necessary training to ensure that the system is fully embedded.
